The OBD plug and play devices have new firmware pushed out to detect Seatbelt status, based on OEM sharing the ECM data for Seatbelt status.
Some vehicles are not compatible with this feature and is based on VIN and OEM data sharing. Contact M2M Support or M2M Sales to find out if your vehicle is capable.
There are a few locations in FM where we are reporting on Seatbelt Events.
1. under "Alerts" and then "Events" and filter by Seatbelt
2. Review the Trip information
3. Set up alert for SMS, Email or Push for Notifications of Seatbelt Unbuckled Events
*Reminder you can set up alerts for the Driver or anyone that you would like to receive the alert via SMS or Email by completing the External contact or add users to the notification.
